Our adoption journey has been long and mostly difficult. But it has a happy ending... when I have more time I will post more about our long process. But for now we celebrate! 

Over the last month we were connected through a mutual friend to a foster family looking for a permanent home for two sisters who we nearing termination of parental rights. We went and met the girls, had them in our home for a weekend, then a week and last we they moved in with us to finish out their foster care until we have cleared all the red tape to adopt them!

The outpouring of love we have experienced in this transition has been amazing and people have been reaching out to find out how they can help. In the short term we have an amazon registry where items we need can be found here
